RMC New York Associates are committed to the development of policies and programming that foster high quality teaching through teacher preparation, certification, licensure, recruitment, retention, accountability, and advancement. RMC New York provides a wide range of consultation and services that support efforts in these areas.
 
To improve reading and literacy outcomes for all K–12 students, RMC is committed to assisting higher education faculty in integrating scientifically based reading research (SBRR) into their pre-service courses. RMC Associates have extensive experience promoting collaboration among higher education faculty, including organizing faculty seminars, disseminating research-based materials to support teacher education courses, providing consultative assistance, and developing online collaborative communities. Staff members have been instrumental in the design and development of a statewide higher education project in this area.
