Program Evaluation Services

  • Evaluations for School and Program Improvement
Recently RMC has worked on evaluations of programs intended to raise student reading outcomes in grades K-3, develop emerging literacy skills in pre-school children, improve outcomes for special education students, implement CSRD models, deliver after-school and family literacy services, and carry out policy changes through NCLB. Historically, the company has evaluated programs of instruction in reading, mathematics, science, technology, pre-school and after-school programs, and programs for English language learners and students with special needs. RMC has the capacity to conduct surveys, focus groups, and interviews, and to analyze and interpret a range of types of data, including all types of test results.

  • Customized Methods
RMC’s evaluation approaches, which examine entire programs or specific program components, include experimental, quasi-experimental, descriptive, and qualitative designs. We have conducted system wide, multiyear and longitudinal evaluations as well as school-level program evaluations, each customized to clients’ needs and resources by focusing on key performance measures for determining a program’s effectiveness. We communicate evaluation results in accessible written documents and face-to-face meetings with clients to motivate actions that improve practice.

  • A Reputation Built on Experience
RMC’s national reputation is based on more than 35 years of experience designing and conducting program and policy evaluations for the U.S. Departments of Education and Health and Human Services, the National
Institutes of Health, the Centers for Disease Control, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the National Science Foundation, and other federal agencies, as well as private foundations, institutions of higher education, and state and local education agencies.
