Learning Technologies  

Learning Technologies continues to be a growing area of interest in relation to building 21st Century Skills for today's youth. RMC New York Technology Associates are expert in the use of technology to support and enhance instruction and learning. Technology Associates at RMC New York have a strong disciplinary background in technology integration to support English Language Arts and Literacy, STEM areas (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)  and pedagogy. The dedication, hard work and knowledge of the Learning Technologies team at RMC New York is reflected across projects within professional development and technical assistance as well as our research and evaluation projects.

The current initiatives of the New York Comprehensive Center (NYCC) project include strategies for utilizing technology, specifically the creation and use of internet videos aligned to New York State Learning Standards and the creation of a Technology Plan for New York State. This vision of learning technologies  as a tool is vital to the improvement of instruction, student engagement and improved outcomes.

Technology Associates provide additional facilitation to all of the projects at RMC New York, using online tools such as Moodle, WebEx, SharePoint, Skype and interactive worlds to name a few. RMC New York also works to build  client knowledge around the use of mobile technologies such as smart phones, e-readers and portable gaming electronics.
